Trial Ends With Defendants' Verdict
August 21, 2012--- Todd Vetter successfully defended his clients in a lawsuit filed in the District Court of Platte County, Nebraska. After a two day trial, the jury determined that Mr. Vetter’s clients were not responsible for a slip and fall accident that occurred on the property owned by the clients. The plaintiff alleged that Mr. Vetter’s clients were legally responsible for injuries and damages sustained when the plaintiff slipped and fell on a patch of ice. The defendants presented evidence that the presence of snow and ice did not create an unreasonable risk of harm to the plaintiff.
