Mark D. Fitzgerald
Mark D. Fitzgerald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 13, 1959. He received his education at Black Hills State College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with highest distinction in 1981. He received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1984, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the South Dakota Law Review from 1983 through 1984.
Mr. Fitzgerald is a Fellow in the Nebraska State Bar Foundation and was appointed by the Nebraska Supreme Court to serve on its Ethics Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association (Executive Council), State Bar of South Dakota and the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. He is licensed to practice in all Nebraska and South Dakota Courts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska and the District of South Dakota and the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. Mr. Fitzgerald practices law in the areas of insurance law and defense, automobile negligence, products liability, personal injury litigation, construction law, commercial litigation, corporation and business organization, and real estate.
